Born in Gothenburg 1961st Dan began taking violin lessons from his
father when he was three. Dan has studied with, among other things
Lars Fermæus, Sven Karpe, Max Rostal, Arthur Grumiaux and Leonid
Kogan. His first appearance, he held only ten years old with the
Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra.
Dan has performed all over Scandinavia, the Baltics, many countries
in Europe and USA. As a soloist he has worked with conductors such
as Esa-Pekka Salonen, Okko Kamu, Sergiu Commissiona et al. Dan has
since 2004 a teaching job at the Malmö Academy of Music.
